Deskripsi
Modul ini merupakan referensi pendamping buku siswa yang bisa digunakan sebagai tambahan bahan ajar bagi guru untuk siswa agar bisa menambah wawasan pengetahuannya tentang materi (KD 3.4) yang membutuhkan contoh berupa audio dan video yang bisa dijadikan sumber belajar secara mandiri sebagai pelengkap tatap muka di kelas. Melalui modul ini diharapkan nantinya siswa bisa menguasai materi dan sekaligus bisa mengevaluasi dirinya sencara mandiri menggunakan latihan dan evaluasi pada modul ini.
Petunjuk Penggunaan Modul
Pada modul ini telah diserti dengan video contoh naturan disaster, Anda bisa melihat tayangan video untuk mempermudah pemahaman tentang apa yang dimaksud dengan naturan disaster, dilanjutkan dengan membaca sebuah teks analytical exposition (eksposisi analitis). Bacalah teks eksposisi analitis yang berjudul Global Warming.
Untuk memudahkan Anda memahami isi bacaan, Anda sebaiknya membaca dan mencoba membuat sendiri peta pikiran (mind map) berdasarkan isi teks.
Untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman anda tentang materi ini jangan lupa menyelesaikan latihan soal dan evaluasinya.

Teks-teks eksposisi analitis, lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait eksposisi analitis, terkait isu aktual yang relevan dengan kehidupan nyata siswa selama proses pembelajaran serta dalam kehidupan nyata di rumah, sekolah, masyarakat, yang secara otentik dicontohkan guru secara langsung dalam komunikasi selama proses pembelajaran dan/atau melalui media audio-visual.
- Memahami isi bacaan (teks eksposisi analitis);
- Menyampaikan/membahas teks eksposisi dengan menggunakan mind map;
- Mengulas kembali teks eksposisi yang sudah dikerjakan selama awal pembelajaran hingga akhir dengan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan / diskusi terkait teks eksposisi.

1. tujuan
Selama proses pembelajaran, siswa dapat berkomunikasi secara interaktif dengan guru dan teman dalam interaksi transaksional yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait isu aktual, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya yang relevan dengan kehidupan nyata. Siswa selama proses pembelajaran serta dalam kehidupan nyata di rumah, sekolah, masyarakat, beserta bukti dan argumentasinya, dapat berkomunikasi secara interaktif dengan guru dan teman secara terintegrasi lisan dan tulis, secara kontekstual, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan yang tepat.

Sebelum membaca teks mari kita berdoa semoga tujuan pembelajaran kita bisa tercapai, kemudian coba jawab pertanyaan berikut ini :

Global warming is a phenomenon used to describe the gradual increase in the temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans. Global warming is not a new problem but lately people are acknowledging that we are facing a serious problem. Climate change is apparent everywhere. Failed crops, economic slowdown, and deforestation are among the several impacts of global warming.
First of all, there is irrefutable evidence that human activities have changed the atmosphere of our earth. Since the time we have been industrializing, we started polluting our waters and air, and have been releasing greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.
Secondly, according to research by the Greenpeace organization, there is evidence of extensive deforestation being carried out in Indonesia and other tropical countries around the world. These forests are used to grow crops like palm sugar, palm oil and coffee-the lifeline of Western society (Green-peace report, 2007). The impact of climate change is noticeable throughout Asia-Pacific, either during hot days or too much rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorm. This has started to affect the economy as well.
Furthermore, the shifting weather patterns have made it difficult for farmers to grow crops. A recent study has shown that due to unpredictable weather pattern, there have been lot of failed crops (Reuters, 2007).
In conclusion, global warming is not a new problem nor are we solely responsible for it. But as the citizens of the world, we have to take every possible action to help overcome this issue. It is not only for us but for all the future generations to follow.

3. Rangkuman
Teks eksposisi analitis adalah sebuah teks yang berfungsi untuk membujuk pembacanya agar dapat sependapat dengan penulis. Pada dasarnya, teks ini terbagi menjadi 4 bagian, yaitu title, introduction, body, dan penutup.“Don't work hard to fight your way back to where your started.”

Nowadays, children behaviors are influenced by televisions, strangers, friends, and family members. First, one influence that has a major effect on children behavior is television. Believe it or not, television plays a big role in how kids act.
Second, children may also be influenced by people they don't know. Although most children are taught not to talk to strangers, we would be surprised how many actually do. Studies have shown that both boys and girls talk to strangers and they are more likely to do what the strangers tell them. Sometimes kids are influenced by their friends. Friends are people who are so close to chil¬dren, and they are people who children trust.
Third, kids are mostly influenced by their parents because they are people who stay with kids most of their time. Kids tend to be like them. Parents play a big role in children's life. If kid sees his/ her parents fight all the time at home, it will probably make him or her become rude.
Finally, children's mind is a very delicate thing. Everything that happens to a young child will affect how she or he thinks and acts in the future.

Ladies and Gentlemen if the jury, the prosecution will prove to you that the accused is guilty. He had the motive, opportunity and ability to commit the crime and this will be shown in the evidence presented to you.
Firstly, the accused needed money. He was in debt owing the bank $ 100.000. He had no chance of repaying this; therefore, he needed quick money. That is why he stolen the Macquarie Diamond.
Secondly, the accused had the opportunity to guard something from crime go from the exhibition of the Diamond without causing suspicion. He had plenty of time on the night of the robbery to take the diamond, hide it and then return to his post before the next guard came on duty.
Finally, the accused had the ability to take the Macquarie Diamond. He had knowledge of the alarm system and had keys to unlock the display case.
On this evidence you have no other choice but to find him guilty.

The issue of school violence is very negative for most students.
First, school violence causes negatives effects to schools. It ruins the school atmosphere by disturbing the smooth running of studies and other school activities. The amount of tension that violence in school creates is enough to distract students from concentrating on their studies.
Second, the other negative effect of school violence is the death that occur during this type of violence. Many students have lost their life during violent disaster at schools. And this also makes their family suffer.
Third violence at school also hurts the reputation. Parents will be hesitate to en¬roll their children in that schools because they are afraid if their children will involve in the next violence that might occur.
In conclusion, the problems that come. about due to school violence are variety. It is therefore very necessary to end school violence so that children concentrate on their studies and have good careers. Parents and teachers should therefore take on the responsibility of providing the right guidance, support, care, affection and love to children. If they do this, they significantly reduce the incidences of violence at school and violent attitude present in children.
